Personality & Temperament
Yeri is a sweet, gentle dog who enjoys being around people.
She may be a little reserved when meeting someone for the first time, especially if they approach her with immediate physical affection. However, with a little patience, she quickly builds trust and becomes a loving, affectionate companion who happily rolls over for belly rubs.
She is calm indoors but becomes more lively and enjoys herself during walks.
Social Skills
With adults: Friendly with both men and women.
With children: Does well with children. She simply appreciates a little time to get comfortable before being handled.
With other dogs: Social and polite. Rather than rushing up to greet other dogs, she patiently waits until they're ready to say hello.
With cats: Curious but respectful. She watches cats without chasing or reacting aggressively.
Daily Habits & Training
House training: Fully house trained. Uses pee pads indoors with 100% accuracy but prefers toileting outdoors.
Crate trained: Yes, very comfortable in a crate.
Energy level: Low to moderate indoors; enjoys walks and outdoor activities.
Walking: Walks nicely on leash. Currently gaining confidence on stairs.
Car rides: Rarely experiences motion sickness.
Barking: May bark or softly growl during the first few days in a brand-new environment, but settles well after about a week.
Destructive behavior: Enjoys shredding cardboard tubes or paper, but stays occupied when given toys or enrichment activities.
Touch: Loves affection once she trusts you. She's comfortable being handled, although she's a little sensitive about having her paws touched.
Ideal Home
Yeri would thrive in:
A patient family willing to give her a few days to adjust.
A home with another friendly dog, as she enjoys canine companionship and may feel more confident.
An apartment or a house, as long as she receives regular walks and attention.
Health Status
Yeri is healthy, fully vaccinated, and receives monthly parasite prevention.
