Bullseye is a charming 6.5-month-old male Retriever/Pit Bull mix with an estimated DOB of January 2026. Weighing around 40 pounds, he's expected to grow into a large, gentle companion. Bullseye was rescued with his mother and littermates from a rural dumping area outside of Houston and has since been thriving in a foster home. He's the calm observer of his litter, taking in his surroundings with a thoughtful demeanor before joining in the fun. He adores dinnertime, belly rubs, and snuggling with his people, offering a peaceful presence that's hard to resist. As an adolescent, he enjoys playing and wrestling with his siblings but is also settling into a wonderful companion.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home that can provide consistency, positive reinforcement, and help build his confidence. We prefer a home with another friendly, well-mannered resident dog to act as a positive role model. If a home doesn't have another dog, we would like to hear your plan for continued socialization. Homes where someone isn't routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time are also preferred, as he will benefit from regular potty breaks, exercise, and interaction.
Ongoing Health
Bullseye is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty trained, but a few accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new routine. He is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice are recommended. Continued socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs is very important for his development.
