Jenna

Jenna is a beautiful, almost 5-year-old Collie with a striking blue merle, white, and tan coat, ready to find her forever family. She has been a cherished family dog and a breeder in her current program. Jenna is an intelligent and active girl who loves agility, fetch, and knows some basic obedience tricks. While she enjoys being a farm dog and is a great protector, she's also experienced with parks and walks well on a leash. She does well with farm animals and cats and has been gentle with children.

Ideal Home

Jenna would thrive in a home where she can receive a lot of attention and be primarily an indoor companion. She is an alpha dog and may need supervised introductions to other dogs to ensure a smooth adjustment period. She is protective of her "property" and will bark at unfamiliar people approaching, but she is not an aggressive dog.

Ongoing Health

Jenna is clear for Collie Eye Anomaly. She is a carrier for one gene for multidrug sensitivity. She is currently on monthly heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Jenna has basic obedience and knows a few tricks. She has experience with agility and loves to play fetch. Her protective instincts mean her interactions with new dogs may require patient guidance and supervision.
