Baylor

Baylor is a truly special girl with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people! She's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happiest when she's cuddling next to her favorite humans, soaking up all the pets and attention. Baylor still has plenty of playful energy for walks, fetch, and swimming – two of her absolute favorite activities – but she's also content to relax and nap most of the day. She has lived with young children and has always been gentle and loving with them. Baylor enjoys being around people and thrives on companionship.

Ideal Home

Baylor would thrive in an adult-only home or a home with older children, preferably with a secure backyard where she can play and relax safely. She needs an experienced adopter who can carefully manage interactions with other dogs and potential resource guarding situations.

Baylor is a healthy girl.

Training & Support

Baylor is well-trained and knows commands including sit, down, shake, place, and speak. She does have leash reactivity and may bark at dogs through fences or windows. She has a history of resource guarding with other dogs, including past incidents. While she has not shown aggression toward humans outside of specific situations, her new home will need to be mindful of managing dog interactions and resource situations.
