Sunflower

Meet Sunflower, a delightful female Lab x Hound mix born on January 26, 2026. She's a bundle of puppy energy and is working hard on her housetraining, so she's getting there! Sunflower is microchipped and will have age-appropriate vaccinations up to date at the time of adoption. She's too young for heartworm testing currently, but this will be done when she's 6 months old. Her adoption donation of $400 helps cover her pre-adoption veterinary care, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and preventative medications. Your adoption also helps support other animals in need!

Ideal Home

Adopting a puppy is a big commitment! Sunflower will need a home that can provide her with lots of attention and training. She cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time and your home will need to be puppy-proofed. Consider if your family can handle the nipping and scratching that is typical of puppies, especially if you have small children.

Ongoing Health

Sunflower is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Any vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter's responsibility. She is too young for heartworm testing at this time.

Training & Support

Sunflower is working on her housetraining and will need continued guidance. Puppies require significant training, so be prepared to invest time and effort to help her thrive.
