Lazarus "Lazzie"

Meet Lazarus, also known as Lazzie! This handsome 3-4 year old, 50 lb. Black Lab mix is a volunteer favorite. Lazzie is a calm, gentle, and quiet boy with a gorgeous, shiny coat. He loves to spend his days lounging and cuddling on the bed with his canine companions and his people. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and currently shares his home with a small chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie. Lazzie even enjoyed socializing and making new friends at a local adoption event, showing his sweet and gentle nature with every stranger he met. He came to us covered in mange and suffering from a respiratory infection, found alone in a ditch. Thanks to proper care, he's now healthy, strong, and strikingly handsome!

Ideal Home

Lazzie enjoys lounging and cuddling with his people and other dogs. He has demonstrated being good with dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Lazzie is fully vaccinated and neutered.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He is eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transporation

Transport out of state is available. Pickups may vary, including across city, county, or state lines. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for staying informed about dogs in transport.
