Alexa is a beautiful black shepherd mix whose story is one of strength and love. Once rescued in rough shape, Alexa bravely fought and overcame transmissible venereal tumor (TVT), a treatable cancer. After completing her full course of chemotherapy, she is now healthy, happy, and officially cancer-free! Today, Alexa is full of life and joy. She's very playful and loves to chase a ball or play fetch in the yard. When she's not playing, she's happiest snuggled up with her people or spending time with kids, who adore her gentle nature. Alexa is a perfect mix of energy and affection. She's loyal, loving, and ready to share her second chance at life with a forever family who will cherish her as much as she'll love them. Alexa truly embodies resilience – a survivor who now shines with gratitude and joy.
