Tsunami is a 6-year-old English Bulldog weighing approximately 53 pounds. She has a big personality and a strong desire to be wherever her people are. While shes made great progress on her weight-loss journey, shes still working on trimming a couple more pounds and enjoys short walks on cool days as part of her healthy lifestyle. She has quickly learned her foster familys routine and thrives on companionship. She would do best in a home where someone works from home or is around much of the day, as she loves being a faithful sidekick and following her favorite humans from room to room. Whether youre working, watching TV, or doing chores, shell happily be right by your side. This sweet girl is fully house-trained, sleeps through the night, and has excellent house manners. She loves chewing on toys, lounging in her dog bed, and spending time with her people. Tsunami gets along well with other respectful dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Like many enthusiastic dogs, she can become overstimulated when excitement levels get too high. She does best with calm, consistent guidance and benefits from being redirected to one of her favorite chew toys or a ball when she needs help settling down. Dont let her 53-pound bulldog frame fool youshes surprisingly quick and athletic when shes having fun!
Ideal Home
Tsunami needs an experienced family that understands bulldogs, one that appreciates her quirky personality, and wants a loyal companion to share everyday life with. She is not suitable for a home with small children.
Ongoing Health
Like many bulldogs, Tsunami has some special care requirements. She has done amazingly well on species-appropriate raw or gently cooked diet to help manage her health and skin needs. Her foster mom will provide two months of food after adoption and will be available to assist her new family with diet and supplementation guidance.
Training & Support
Tsunami can become overstimulated and benefits from being redirected to one of her favorite chew toys or a ball when she needs help settling down. She will thrive in a calm, structured environment with adults or older, dog-savvy children who can respect her boundaries and help her continue building confidence and good habits.
