Jimmy and Lola

Jimmy and Lola are a bonded pair of young, small Chihuahua mixes who are looking for a patient and loving home to help them blossom. They are currently very scared and unsure of their surroundings, but they are not aggressive at all. They can be picked up and, with a little time, stop shaking. They are also beginning to allow gentle petting and are moving around more, though they still stick close to each other. They came to us with two other dogs, Kip and Cali, who are also quite timid.

A quiet home with patient humans who understand that building trust will take time. They need a chance to learn that people can be kind and loving.

Jimmy and Lola appear to be healthy and eat well when they believe they are unobserved.

Training & Support

These pups will need significant socialization and confidence-building. Spending quiet time with them, even if you're just reading in the same room, can help them feel more comfortable. They need to learn that humans are safe and trustworthy.
