Meet Cassie! This sweet girl is about four and a half years old and is believed to be a Pittie/Staffy mix. Cassie has the most adorable polka-dot ears and tummy, and a smile that will melt your heart. She's happiest when she's with her people and loves to lean in for affection. Cassie is calm, affectionate, and has a steady presence that makes a house feel like a home. She enjoys adventures, rides well in the car, and is a pleasure on walks, preferring to explore at her own pace. Cassie is also a great jogging partner! At home, she's content with simple pleasures like exploring the yard, lounging in the sun, and enjoying occasional zoomies. She's a smart cookie who knows sit, paw, and lay down, and is eager to please for treats and praise. Cassie absolutely adores children and has a gentle nature around them. While she's lived with other dogs, she prefers calm, respectful canine companions who appreciate personal space. An easygoing male dog might be a good fit, but she would also be perfectly happy as the only dog, soaking up all the attention. Cassie is not a cat person. She would thrive in a home with a yard where she can explore and relax. Cassie is looking for a loyal companion to be her walking buddy, couch companion, and best friend.

Cassie would be happiest in a home with a yard where she can explore, sunbathe, and sniff around. She would also do well as the only dog, or with a calm, laid-back male dog. She is not a fit for a home with cats.

Transportation
Cassie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
