Elsa is a sweet, endearing 7-year-old pittie girl weighing 51 pounds. She has survived more than she should have had to, coming from a humane case. The shelter environment completely shuts her down, but in a safe and loving home, her true self shines through – she is absolute magic! Elsa is gentle, soft, and loving, the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. She is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and wonderfully easygoing, sleeping in like a little retired grandma and happily lounging until you're ready to start the day. She walks beautifully on leash, loves car rides, and is perfectly content with peaceful strolls and cozy naps. Her favorite thing in the world is her stuffies, which she carefully collects into little piles in her crate or apartment, gently decorating her safe space with treasures she finds important, including the occasional stolen shoe or boot. She never destroys anything; she simply wants her little space to feel like home. Her foster mom says Elsa learned to trust so quickly despite everything she's been through. She's affectionate, calm, cooperative, and incredibly resilient, just wanting to love and be loved.
Ideal Home
Elsa is wonderful with people and kids. She loves cuddles, blankets, being close to her humans, and quietly existing beside you; she is the definition of a companion dog. She does need to be the only pet in the home, with no other dogs or cats. She thrives in a quiet home with a soft bed and a person who will make her feel safe.
Ongoing Health
