Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn! This sweet Cattle Dog mix, weighing around 40lbs, has an estimated birthday of May 6, 2022. Delta Dawn has overcome a lot in her young life. She arrived at our rescue pregnant and found herself on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Thankfully, we were able to say "yes" and bring her into our care. She went to a loving foster home where she safely welcomed her 11 puppies. Sadly, her puppies were lost to puppy fading syndrome, a heartbreaking experience for everyone. Despite this, Delta Dawn is a truly special girl. She has the softest fur and an incredibly sweet nature that makes you want to shower her with affection. Cuddles are a favorite pastime, and she even enjoys trips to Tractor Supply, not minding a bath one bit! She loves to explore the toy and treat aisles, sniffing all the exciting scents.

Ideal Home

Delta Dawn is looking for a person who will give her all the belly rubs and show her how to be a loved and cherished dog. She is a spunky, loving, and ready-to-be-your-best-friend adventure partner.

Ongoing Health

Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

We are currently working on leash training with Delta Dawn. She's full of life and eager to explore, sometimes moving faster than her foster mom can walk, but she is very trainable because she loves to please. She has recently learned how to play fetch and loves balls, though we are still working on her bringing them back. She is kennel and potty trained.
