Sanders and Nora (Bonded Pair)

Colonel Sanders, about 3 years old, is a handsome fellow found near a farmer's chicken coop. He's bonded with Nora, a 2-year-old sweetheart who was abandoned with her littermates. Nora was initially timid, so her foster family introduced Sanders to help her gain confidence, and it quickly became clear they were meant for each other! Nora often takes the lead, guiding Sanders and their foster family on walks and to bedtime. Both have grown incredibly confident and loving in their foster home. Sanders enjoys human attention and will often bow and lie down for pets. Nora actively seeks out cuddles and adores belly rubs and scratches behind the ears.

Ideal Home

This bonded pair needs a home where they can continue to build confidence with patience and understanding. A securely fenced yard is a must, as they prefer to do their business outside and may have occasional accidents indoors. They are a medium-energy pair that enjoys car rides.

Ongoing Health

Sanders and Nora are generally healthy and have no specific ongoing health conditions to report at this time.

Training & Support

Both Sanders and Nora are crate-trained, although they may initially voice their objections before settling down. They are housetrained but do best with regular potty breaks every 3-4 hours. They are comfortable walking on a leash, especially Nora, and Sanders is improving with her guidance. We recommend using a harness when walking them.
