Hancho is the total package—a big, handsome boy with a loving heart, a playful spirit, and the kind of loyalty that makes Rottie mixes so special. At 80 pounds, he may look imposing at first glance, but underneath that sturdy frame is a sweet snuggle bug who simply wants to be close to his people. Hancho was originally adopted by his foster mom after she completely fell in love with him. Sadly, due to declining health, she is no longer able to care for him, and now this wonderful boy is once again searching for a forever family to love.
Hancho has a nice medium energy level. He enjoys running around, playing, and having fun, especially with other dogs of any size, so a playful canine companion would be a dream come true for him. Once he's gotten his zoomies out, though, he's all about relaxing beside you for ear scratches, belly rubs, and cuddle time. He has been around children over 7 years old and does very well with them. He can be a little vocal when meeting strangers at first, but it's all bark. Give him a smile, a kind voice, and a minute to warm up, and you'll quickly see his affectionate and friendly personality shine through.
Ideal Home
Hancho would do best in a home where he can be the only dog. He has been around children over 7 years old and does very well with them.
Ongoing Health
Hancho is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He is neutered.
Training & Support
Hancho is house trained and crate trained. He does best being crated when left home alone, as he occasionally forgets which items are actually dog toys. While he walks well on leash, he can pull a bit at times due to his size and enthusiasm, so continued leash training would be beneficial.
