Dixie

Dixie is a beautiful young beagle who is just learning what it's like to be a cherished family pet, likely having been an abandoned hunting dog. She's a people-loving pup who, though shy at first, blossoms into a best friend with patience and affection. Dixie is wonderfully playful, enjoying solo adventures, engaging with other dogs, and discovering the joys of toys! She's still got that puppy energy and loves to get the "zoomies," which she happily works out by running the fence line and across her fenced yard.

Ideal Home

Dixie would thrive in a home with a yard where she can run freely without a leash. She'd do well with a family who is home a lot and can give her the attention she craves, and she would also be happy with a canine companion. She would love to sleep on the bed with her people if allowed.

Ongoing Health

Dixie is a young, healthy dog.

Training & Support

Dixie is doing very well with her housebreaking, mostly going outside now. She is also learning to walk on a leash and is doing well. She has shown no food aggression with other dogs.
