Bullseye is a charming 6.5-month-old Retriever/Pit Bull mix, weighing 40 pounds and anticipated to grow into a large, loving companion. He was rescued as a tiny puppy with his mother and siblings from a rural area outside of Houston. Bullseye is the quiet observer of his litter, preferring to take things in before joining the fun. He loves cuddles, belly rubs, and playing with his siblings, but he also has a gentle, thoughtful nature that makes him an instant favorite. He's growing into a wonderful companion who enjoys both playtime and quiet snuggles.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home that can provide ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and plenty of socialization opportunities. He would benefit greatly from a resident canine friend who can act as a mentor. We prefer homes where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time, to ensure he receives regular potty breaks, exercise, and interaction as he continues to mature.
Ongoing Health
Bullseye is a healthy adolescent dog.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty trained, but some accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new routine. He is crate trained and is building confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Continued socialization, consistent training, and positive reinforcement are key to helping him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.
