Barney's favorite things include being close to his people, wagging his adorable wiggle butt, playing with toys, and going on adventures. He's affectionate, mellow without being boring, and has an easygoing, go-with-the-flow personality that makes him effortlessly fit into any life. Barney is crate and potty trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and has mastered basic commands like "sit" and "shake." He's the perfect blend of a snuggly pal and an adventure companion.

Ideal Home

Barney would love a home with a nice big backyard for him to roam and relax in the sun. He enjoys the company of other dogs that like to play and appreciate calmer moments, but he is also happy being the center of attention as your one and only.

Ongoing Health

Barney is neutered and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Barney is a smart boy who already knows "sit" and "shake," and is crate and potty trained. He's also comfortable using a doggy door.

Transporation

Barney is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Transport is available for an additional $87 surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
