Kenai

Kenai is a sweet and resilient 2-4 year old mixed breed who has overcome so much. She was found as a stray with a chain and trap attached to her leg, which sadly had to be amputated due to the extensive injuries. Despite her traumatic past, Kenai is a gentle, friendly, and smart girl who is adapting beautifully to life as a tripod. She also gets along well with other dogs!

Ongoing Health

Kenai has had an amputation of her front leg due to severe injuries. She is on the road to recovery and learning to be a tripod.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will benefit from continued training and socialization to help her thrive in her new home.

Transporation

Kenai is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We are happy to provide local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
