Meet Vaquero! This handsome 3-year-old Shepherd is a bundle of playful energy, a sharp mind, and a heart overflowing with love. He came to us after his family surrendered him, through no fault of his own, and now he's eagerly searching for his forever home where he'll be cherished.

Vaquero is an intelligent and active boy who loves to keep busy. He'd be happiest with an active family who enjoys the great outdoors and can include him in daily walks, playtime, hikes, or any adventure you can dream up! As a Shepherd, he's a quick learner and truly thrives when his mind and body are engaged.

While he has an athletic side, Vaquero is also a big cuddle bug who loves to spend quality time with his people. After a day of fun and exploration, he'd be perfectly content to curl up on a big, comfy bed. He forms strong bonds with his family and truly enjoys being a part of their everyday lives.

Vaquero gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is friendly with cats, and does well with children, making him a fantastic addition to many different types of households.

He's looking for an active family that will provide him with the exercise, companionship, and love he deserves. In return, Vaquero promises unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a lifetime of friendship.
