Skye is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix with a heart as big as her smile! When she was first found, she weighed only 43 lbs, but with love and care, she’s now a healthy 55 lbs and ready to find her forever home. This beautiful girl has a soft, medium-length coat and a gentle spirit. Though she’s still learning to trust and find her confidence, Skye absolutely thrives on praise and affection. She adores kids, enjoys spending time with cats, and is an all-around sweetheart once she feels safe. Skye did lose part of her right ear and now sports a docked tail after an old scuffle, but don’t worry — it hasn’t slowed her down one bit!

Ideal Home

Skye isn’t a fan of female dogs, so she’d do best as your only pup or with a calm male companion.

Ongoing Health

Skye has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Though Skye is still learning to trust and find her confidence, she absolutely thrives on praise and affection.
