Duke is a charming 6-year-old gentleman, born on July 5, 2014, who's looking for his new favorite spot on the couch! He's a handsome mix, believed to be American Pitbull, Labrador, and Border Collie. Duke is a very friendly and sweet dog who believes everyone he meets is there just to see him! He absolutely loves other dogs and has made best friends with dogs he's lived with, as well as enjoyed visits to the dog park. He's also good with children and would make a wonderful companion for a family. Duke's current family is seeking a new home for him because their granddaughter is allergic to dogs. He's house-trained and does well in a kennel, but has also been trusted to roam freely in the house. He enjoys playing fetch and has a lot of energy for running!

Ideal Home

Duke would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people, especially during thunderstorms, which he doesn't care for. A thunder jacket helps him manage during storms, and he appreciates having a comforting presence nearby.

Ongoing Health

Duke sometimes licks his paws due to possible allergies. He is managed with Benadryl and a grain-free diet, and is otherwise considered a healthy dog.

Training & Support

Duke is house-trained and does well in a kennel. He enjoys walks on leash and is a joy to have around.
