Lance is a handsome boy, just shy of two years old, who embodies the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and growing confidence. He's full of life, always ready with a wagging tail, a bright smile, and a zest for every moment. Lance absolutely loves to run, romp, and play with other dogs. He has excelled in playgroups with both males and females, demonstrating excellent social skills and knowing how to adjust his play style if another pup isn't quite as energetic. He's eager to please and friendly with new people, just waiting for his forever family.
Lance was found as a stray and has been in foster care for nearly a year, patiently hoping for his special person to find him. When he was first rescued, he was very fearful, but he has made incredible progress and continues to grow in confidence daily. While he may still get a little spooked by new things from time to time, with gentle encouragement and reassurance, he quickly finds his footing. Lance has formed a close bond with another female dog in his foster home, who has helped him gain confidence and shown us just how happy and playful he can be.
