Murray

Murray is a smart, energetic, and affectionate young Collie with a big personality and a lot of love to give! He enjoys treats, toys, and a good game of fetch, and he's always eager to learn, making him a rewarding match for an active home. This handsome boy is fully housebroken, comfortable in a crate, and settles well when left alone. He has learned not to destroy his toys, is improving with waiting at doors, and comes when called. Murray is highly intelligent and loves to learn – he even figured out how to let himself back inside by using a lever-style doorknob!

Murray thrives on attention and affection and loves to be part of whatever his family is doing. He responds well to treats, chews, toys, and calm, consistent routines. He navigates stairs with ease and has done well with grooming. Murray gets along well with other dogs and cats. He enjoys canine companionship but is still learning appropriate play manners and can be a bit exuberant at times. Because Murray can be sensitive to certain sights and sounds outside of the fence, he would do best in a quieter environment with minimal outside distractions.

Ideal Home

A dog-savvy, active home with a securely fenced yard, clear expectations, and plenty of physical and mental enrichment will be ideal for this bright young Collie. A quieter environment with minimal outside distractions is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Murray is a healthy young boy with no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Murray is doing well with his training but would benefit from continued guidance and supervision, especially with his play manners with other dogs. A family willing to provide structure and continued guidance will help him continue making great progress.
