Freckles, wiggles, and a happy little hop in her step – that's Pippi Longstocking for you! This petite, bright-eyed girl is full of spunky sweetness and approaches life like it's a playground she's just discovered. Pippi is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs around 37 lbs. She's a happy, medium-sized dog with energy to spare and a heart that's wide open, always eager to share her affection with an enthusiastic wiggle!
Ideal Home
Pippi would thrive with an active family who enjoys movement and play. She's looking for a home that can provide clear boundaries and structure to help her channel her boundless happy energy. While she's friendly and confident with other dogs, she's not looking for a pushover playmate. She needs a canine companion who can advocate for themselves and set boundaries. Her response to cats was mixed and inconclusive, so we'd love to see her in a home with a cat or two to get a full understanding of her interactions.
Ongoing Health
Pippi is a healthy girl. All vetting, vaccinations (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies), deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention are up to date. She has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Pippi walks into her crate without fuss, which is a big win! She responds well to structure and benefits from clear boundaries. Her play style can be bold, so she'll do best with a confident dog friend.

Transportation
Pippi is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
