Bronx is a sweet dog who was found dumped on the side of the expressway with his brother. Sadly, his brother was hit and killed by a car right in front of him. Thankfully, an angel saw him and picked him up. Bronx doesn’t understand why nobody is coming for him. He has the most gentle soul and is especially wonderful with the young children in his foster home. He’s done very well on pack walks with calmer dogs and is not comfortable with hyper dogs that are in his face. He’s a peaceful guy who loves to spend time with his humans. Bronx is approximately 3 years old, weighs about 60 lbs, and is HW negative. He is up to date on vaccines and is scheduled to be neutered on 9-26. He hardly ever barks, is shy at first but warms up to become your best friend, and is super chill and goofy once he’s comfortable. He seems to have very little interest in the resident cats, but would need a slow and proper intro to be safe.
Ideal Home
Bronx needs to go to a home that’s going to be patient with him and understand that it will take him a little bit of time to decompress and feel safe. He has shown with his temporary fosters that with love and understanding, he is a loyal and loving companion. We think with somebody who understands how to do proper meet and greets over time, he would do well with another chill dog. However, after all he’s been through, it might be best for him to have a house where he gets all the attention. He is gentle and good with children who are calm and gentle with him.

Bronx is HW negative and up to date on vaccines. He is scheduled to be neutered on 9-26.
Training & Support
Bronx is shy at first but once he warms up he’s your best friend. He is super chill and goofy once he’s comfortable.
