Panda is a shy but sweet boy who loves to snuggle. He is estimated to be two years old and weighs around 50 pounds, with a possible Pittie mix in his lineage. His unique black and white coat earned him his name, as did his mellow nature. Panda loves his toys, chew bones, and daily walks. He craves routine and thrives on structure. He's also a professional passenger, happy to ride in the car, and loves to sleep in bed with his humans, though he is also kennel and house trained.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He needs to be in a home with another dog, as he draws a lot of confidence from canine companionship. He is not recommended for a home with cats. While he has lived with children aged 5 and up and did well, they must be respectful and sweet with him.
Ongoing Health
Panda is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered. He has been microchipped.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning, and patience is key to his heart. He is great on leash and enjoys walks, which help him bond with his people. He will need a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and his foster mom are available to provide insight and advice during this time.
