Mars

Meet Mars! This handsome boy, about 2 years old and weighing between 45-50 lbs, has a story of resilience. He was sadly abandoned but found his way to safety thanks to the kindness of strangers and the Adore team. Now, Mars is boarding with a local dog trainer, happily learning to be a dog again and showering everyone he meets with affection. He's a social butterfly who loves to play with other energetic dogs and with the right guidance, he could also share his home with feline friends. Mars would do best with older children who won't be accidentally knocked over by his playful enthusiasm. His recall is fantastic, and he's ready to find a family to call his own!

Ideal Home

Mars would thrive in a home with older children. He's also social with other dogs and could potentially live with cats with proper introductions and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mars is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is heartworm positive and has begun the slow-kill treatment process. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to ensure his continued treatment.

Training & Support

Mars is currently in a training program and learning to be a dog again. He is eager to please and with consistent structure and guidance, he'll continue to blossom.
