Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, 35-pound female Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix who is spayed. She's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness, affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy." Daisy was rescued from a euthanasia list after being returned to a shelter, and she's incredibly happy to have a second chance at a loving home. She enjoys zoomies, cuddles, and playing with other dogs. Daisy is known to gently herd her larger foster siblings, hinting at her potential herding breed background.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home that can provide daily walks, playtime, or a securely fenced yard. She would love another friendly, confident dog for companionship. She would also do well with children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog. Daisy prefers a calm home with a predictable routine, rather than a busy household with many visitors, as she can be shy when meeting new people, especially men.
Ongoing Health
Daisy has no known health conditions mentioned.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered dog. She is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash without reactivity, is crate-trained, and does not exhibit resource guarding. She is very food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. While she can be shy initially with new people, patience and gentle encouragement will help her warm up and reveal her affectionate nature. She can be left loose in the house when alone, but she does find shoes fascinating, so keeping them picked up is advised.
