About Diva

Diva is a 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix who weighs about 35 pounds and is full of playful energy and affection! She's a smart, outgoing girl who loves to run, play, and explore. Diva enjoys the company of other dogs who can match her active spirit, and her tail is always wagging when she's around her canine pals. She walks politely on leash and is curious about cats, though she'll happily sneak a bite of their food if given the chance. Diva is affectionate and gentle and is believed to be good with children, especially those who can manage her enthusiasm and guard their snacks! She's crate trained and does well for short periods, and her food motivation makes her eager to learn. Diva loves toys and shares them well. She's a cuddler and greets new people with friendly enthusiasm, but she's still getting used to car rides and will need time to build comfort with longer adventures. A unique quirk is her vocal "howling" when corrected, which her foster finds charming and funny!

Ideal Home

Diva would thrive in a home with another dog who enjoys playtime. She would do best with someone who is home most of the time to provide structure, love, and activity. Regular walks, plenty of playtime, and the chance to sleep close to her people are important for her happiness.

Ongoing Health

Diva is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Diva is crate trained and does well with food motivation, making her eager to learn. She should be fed separately from other dogs as she may try to sneak extra treats. While she shares toys well, she may try to "argue" with you when corrected by vocalizing. She needs time and patience to become comfortable with longer car rides.
