AZALEA

Meet Azalea! This sweet, cuddly girl is about a year old and weighs 47 pounds. She's curious, affectionate, and incredibly food-motivated, which has helped her training progress wonderfully. Azalea warms up quickly and gets along great with both dogs and people. She's a medium-energy pup who enjoys a good play session followed by a long nap. You'll often find her dozing off mid-sit, eventually melting into a snoring puddle, preferably snuggled up with a human or canine friend. Azalea is a quiet dog who rarely barks, except occasionally when her foster sister initiates play. Even the city's hustle and bustle don't faze her when she's indoors. Her beautiful, expressive eyes and velvety coat make her an absolute sweetheart.

Ideal Home

Azalea would do best in a home that can continue working with her on her puppy behaviors, as she can be a bit mouthy. Because of this, a home with children 10 and up would be ideal. She redirects well onto toys and is learning boundaries quickly.

Ongoing Health

Azalea is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Azalea is highly food-motivated and is picking up new commands quickly. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night without issue, also happily resting in her crate during the day when she needs a break. She redirects onto toys well and is learning boundaries quickly. We hope her new family will continue to support her in learning and setting boundaries.
