Adrienne is a sweet 10-pound, 10-year-old girl who has overcome a lot and is now ready to find her forever home! She came to us with severe dental disease, demodex mange, glaucoma, and a luxating lens that required the removal of one eye. But this brave pup has recovered beautifully and is managing her remaining eye's glaucoma with daily eye drops, which she tolerates very well. She's been an excellent patient, showing her resilient spirit!
While Adrienne is visually impaired and gets around her foster home and yard with confidence, she does occasionally bump into things. She also appears to be hearing impaired. These sensitivities mean she would do best in a home without small children. Despite her challenges, she has transformed from a timid pup into a relaxed lap dog who enjoys car rides and vet visits. She's spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. After her dental work, she's left toothless but happily gobbles down canned food.
Ideal Home
Adrienne would do best in a calm home environment without small children. Due to past experiences, we will not place her in a home with large breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
Adrienne has glaucoma in her remaining eye, which is managed with daily eye drops. She is also visually and hearing impaired.
Training & Support
Adrienne is gaining confidence daily and is a well-behaved pup. She tolerates her eye drops exceptionally well.
