People say I look black at first glance, but up close, you’ll see the gorgeous mix of colors that make me one-of-a-kind. I’m 65 pounds of muscle, speed, and curiosity, and if you’ve got a ball to throw, I’ll chase it all day long. I’m fast, agile, and love sniffing out every corner of the yard. Birds? I’ll chase those too, just for fun! I’m potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, though I’ll admit I’m still working on my manners when other dogs walk by. I’ve been training for a few months now—I passed basic and know several commands—but I’m still a bit of a nervous Nelly. I bark at people who pass by my house, and I’m not a fan of walking in the rain. Sometimes I’m just not in the mood for a walk at all, but I do love sunbathing and rolling around in the bed like it’s my personal playground. I’m not a snuggler or a lap dog—I like my space and independence—but I do love being near my people. I’m good with older kids, though I’m still working on not jumping up when I get excited. I am not good with other dogs. Cats? I haven’t met any yet, but I can be tested if needed. I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
