Meet Valentina! She's a beautiful Black Mouth Cur mix, weighing about 45 lbs. Valentina is a calm, gentle, loyal, and noble pup who might be a little shy at first but will warm up to become your most trusted companion. She's already leash trained, crate trained, and house trained, letting you know when she needs to go outside. Valentina gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, and adults, making her a fantastic family dog or a devoted friend. She was born outdoors in Houston during freezing weather and wasn't expected to survive, but her resilience and will to live make her truly special. Now, Valentina is ready for a safe, loving, and stable forever home where she can finally feel cherished.
Ideal Home
We are looking for homeowners with a fenced backyard who enjoy outdoor activities. An active family that understands the needs of rescued animals and has experience in dog behavior and training would be ideal. Valentina needs a patient and tolerant home, especially since she is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Valentina has been spayed, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), and dewormed. She has tested negative for heartworm and comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Valentina is not house-trained, and this will require ongoing patience and effort from her new family. It's important to understand that our rescue pets require dedicated attention to their emotional and physical rehabilitation.

Transporation
Valentina is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to the East Coast and Pacific Northwest. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Transport is carefully planned with scheduled trips, involving a dedicated transport company. You will receive regular updates throughout your pet's journey in a private Facebook Messenger group.
