Mikey Wood

Mikey Wood is a sweet little guy who was found as a stray and brought to our shelter. He's a very friendly and eager boy who loves attention and enjoys a good romp. He's housebroken and knows how to sit, and he's gentle when taking treats. Mikey also has excellent manners and doesn't jump excessively, though he can get a little overexcited when first meeting people. He enjoys playing with toys, especially balls and squeaky ones.

Ideal Home

Mikey would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of playtime and attention. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he did attempt to mount another dog in a playgroup, so he may need further guidance on appropriate social interactions.

Ongoing Health

Mikey is in good health and has no known ongoing medical conditions.

Training & Support

Mikey is housebroken and knows the "sit" command. He has excellent manners and is gentle with treats, but he can jump on people when excited. Further guidance on appropriate playgroup etiquette and continued positive reinforcement training will help him succeed.
