Bruno is a big, handsome stud muffin ready for adoption! He and his sister, Coco, were found near the Texas/Mexico border when they were just three months old. It's estimated they were born around October 2025, and they've been in foster care since being rescued. Bruno currently weighs 55 lbs and is a medium-active boy who still enjoys his zoomies. He loves to play, especially with ropes and balls, but he also really enjoys a good cuddle session and being right by his humans' side.
Ideal Home
Bruno would thrive in a home that is more active than not, as he's still young and has plenty of energy. His perfect day would involve swimming, lounging by a pool, or simply playing outdoors.
Ongoing Health
Bruno is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick, and de-wormer. He has tested positive for heartworm, but has completed the initial 30-day treatment and will need to remain on monthly prevention for 12-16 months, with a re-test afterward. He will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Bruno is crate trained and is very motivated by food and treats, which will be a great asset in his continued training. He is described as amazing and loving but will need patience as he continues to learn.

Transportation
Bruno is currently located in south Texas. He can be transported to various locations in the Central US and East Coast, as we do not adopt animals out within Texas. The adoption fee includes transport. Scheduled transport stops include: Albany, NY; Wells, VT; Brattleboro, VT; Nashua, NH; Willington, CT; Stamford, CT; Dayville, CT; Steubenville, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Grove City, OH; Ridgefield, NJ; Mt Laurel, NJ; Emmitsburg, MD; Elkton, MD; Falls Church, VA; and Glenn Allen, VA. (Please note: Stops in Grove City, PA and Washington, PA are currently on hold).
