Meet Zeke! This handsome 3-year-old American Akita is looking for a special home where he can truly shine. Zeke is a dog who appreciates a respectful approach. He doesn't offer immediate friendship or solicit belly rubs, but with patience and consistency, you can certainly earn his trust. He is highly food-motivated, so providing his meals and daily walks will be a fantastic way to build a bond. Zeke and his companion Zoey were unfortunately abandoned by backyard breeders and found themselves at a North Carolina kill shelter. We believe Zeke has the potential to be a wonderful, loving, and protective companion for the right person.
