Chetty JuM

Meet Chetty, a jazzy lovebug who is ready to dance her way into your heart! This sweet girl is a female Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix with an abundance of love to give. Chetty is still learning some of the finer points of being a good girl, like being comfortable in a crate and walking confidently on a leash, but with a little more practice and lots of love, she'll master these skills in no time. Her foster family has been showering her with affection and training, and she's eager to return that love tenfold!

Chetty is a super excitable dog with a mid-to-high energy level. She sometimes forgets her own size, especially when her favorite humans come home – she'll transform from a dog to a jackrabbit, jumping with joy to greet you! She gets along great with children, but it's a good reminder for little ones that Chetty can sometimes forget just how small they are.

Ideal Home

Chetty would thrive in an active home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and ongoing training. Given her exuberance, a home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal. While she's curious about cats and has been known to chase them, she would likely do best in a household with no cats or cats that are very confident and can hold their own.

Ongoing Health

Chetty is spayed, vaccinated, and has completed heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Chetty is still working on crate training and leash walking confidence. She can be a bit jumpy when excited, especially upon greeting people. Consistent positive reinforcement and continued socialization will help her become the best dog she can be.
