Carta

Carta is a happy, bubbly, and affectionate pup who loves everyone she meets and wants nothing more than to be near her people. She came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control and has spent time in wonderful foster homes. She has lived with four children ages 5-15 and was amazing with them. Carta loves squeaky toys, bones, and Kongs, and is great about chewing her own toys. She loves stuffies and playing tug. She is a young pup who gets the zoomies but then loves a nap. She is a great work-from-home companion who is quiet and happy to snooze or entertain herself. Carta is house and crate trained and settles into her crate at night without a peep. She is treat motivated and tries her hardest to learn her manners and leash walking.

Ideal Home

Carta will thrive in a home that can continue her training and shower her with love, playtime, and plenty of appropriate chew toys.

Ongoing Health

Carta is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Carta is working on learning her manners and leash walking. She is treat motivated and eager to please. Her adopter is entitled to a $250 training scholarship for a positive reinforcement trainer.
