Mimi is a delightful female American Staffordshire Terrier mix, around 5 years old and weighing approximately 38 lbs. She's a true survivor, found abandoned and underweight in Matamoros, Mexico. Despite her tough start, Mimi has blossomed into a happy, playful, and incredibly affectionate dog who adores human companionship. She's social with other dogs and can live with cats if introductions are supervised. Mimi is active, funny, and has a gentle, respectful nature, always eager to please. She’s a testament to resilience, her gratitude shining through daily. Mimi is searching for a forever family to cherish her as much as she will cherish them, ready to fill your home with joy and love.

Ongoing Health
Mimi has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including being spayed, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworm and 4DX, and is on monthly preventative medication (Nexgard Spectra). She is up-to-date with all her vaccinations and has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Mimi is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period, patience, and understanding to build trust and overcome past traumas. Establishing a routine and clear boundaries will help her feel secure.

Transportation
Mimi is currently fostered in Matamoros, Mexico. She is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip if adopted. Transportation is available for an additional fee of $400 USD, which covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport process includes scheduled trips, a contracted transport company, all necessary legal and health documentation, and real-time updates during the journey.
