About ELMO

Elmo is a friendly, large adult male Great Pyrenees mix who came to us as a stray. He's a sweet boy who is eager to find his forever home and start his new life!

Ideal Home

Elmo would do best in a home that understands he is a stray and may need time to adjust. He has shown some discomfort towards other dogs in the shelter, so he would benefit from slow, gradual introductions to any other animals in the home. Children are also a new concept for Elmo, so slow introductions to them are recommended as well.

Ongoing Health

Elmo has been neutered.

Training & Support

As Elmo was found out in the country, he may need some guidance with potty and crate training. Patience and consistency will be key to helping him settle in and learn the ropes of home living.
