Bear is an 80-pound, 6-year-old snuggle enthusiast who is ready to find his new forever home. He lived his whole life with a devoted owner who sadly passed away from cancer. Bear is now looking for someone to love him just as much.

Ideal Home

Bear would do best in a home with older kids or teens who can handle his enthusiastic greetings. He needs a home that understands his need for calm introductions to new dogs, as he prefers mellow or submissive canine companions. Bear is not a fan of cats or small animals.

Ongoing Health

Bear is currently healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Bear can be a little nervous in new environments, but he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable. He is enthusiastic about people, especially men, and may greet them with a happy bounce. With a bit of patience and understanding, Bear will settle in and become a cherished member of the family.
