Edric

Edric is a 5-year-old, 40-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix with a bright mind and a fun-loving personality. He absolutely loves interacting with his people and is always eager to learn new things. Edric is very people-focused and enjoys staying engaged with his handler. He's highly treat-motivated and will politely offer a sit while waiting for his reward. Edric enjoys both independent and interactive toy play. When playtime winds down, he happily leans in for all-over scratches and affection. During a short foster stay, Edric quickly learned cues including "sit," "down," "bed," "stay," and "off," and even appeared to understand "outside." He also signaled when he needed to go outside. Edric settles nicely with gentle petting and enjoys calm physical affection, though he may become a little bouncy when excited.

Ideal Home

Edric would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.

Edric is neutered.

Edric is highly trainable and has learned several cues. He may become a little bouncy when excited, so gentle guidance will help him continue to learn calm behaviors.
