Diego

Diego is a gorgeous Portuguese Waterdog mix, possibly with some Poodle and Labrador in his lineage. This handsome 2-year-old boy has soft, long black fur and the sweetest dark eyes, truly possessing the heart of a teddy bear. He currently weighs about 55 pounds and is expected to reach 60-65 pounds. Diego is an adventure seeker with lots of energy, able to jump and leap with impressive agility, though his fluffy coat makes him look heavier than he is! Once he's had a chance to play or go for a brisk walk, he settles down nicely and enjoys quiet time, especially cuddling and giving big hugs while standing on his hind legs. Diego is sure to be a wonderful companion for all your adventures.

Diego would thrive with a dog-loving person or family who understands that he'll need a little time to adjust and settle in.
