Kira (A142633) is a 1-year-old husky mix who weighed nearly 70 lbs at intake! 06/28/26 This sweet and affectionate lady is Kira! Kira was surrendered to the shelter due to an ear infection that her previous owners were not able to treat. Kira was said to be kennel trained and to ride well in the car. It is not clear if she is housebroken, but she will whine to go outside and she has done well at keeping her kennel clean while at the shelter! She can be rouggh when playing but was described as being outgoing, friendly and affectionate. She is quite hyper but super sweet! Kira can be shy at first with most humans. She has been known to sniff babies and can be jumpy around the general chaos of children. She has been known to be very playful towards other dogs and cats. Kira has been known to chew and get the trash. She can also be vocal at times. She does know some basic commands, but she may need some help with her manners as she has been known to jump on people.
