Hi there! My name is Caramel, though some of my favorite people call me Caramella. I'm a delightful Labrador Retriever mix with a coat as sweet as my name. Born around April 8, 2026, I'm still a playful pup, weighing in at 11.9lbs as of June 3, 2026. If you're looking for a companion who's a perfect blend of sweet, playful, and cuddly, I think we're meant to be!
I'll admit, I can be a little shy when I first meet new faces. New things can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. But with a little patience, some kind words, and perhaps a gentle scratch behind the ears, my true, bubbly personality will shine through. Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely adore attention! Belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and hearing how adorable I am? Yes, please! I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it all with my forever family.
Like any puppy, my days are filled with fun. I love carrying my toys around, engaging in playful wrestling matches with my brother, investigating every interesting discovery, and then crashing for a well-deserved nap after all that important puppy work. I'm also a smart cookie! I'm doing wonderfully with crate training and often head into my crate on my own when it's naptime or bedtime. I'm also working on my potty manners and am becoming a big girl, mostly using my puppy pads. More than anything, I'm searching for a family who will help me continue to build my confidence and show me all the wonderful adventures life has to offer. Transporation
Caramella is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state, with pickup locations that may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
