Meet Layla, a 1.5-year-old sweetheart weighing approximately 20 pounds who is looking for an active family to call her own! Layla has the perfect combination of playful energy and loving affection, making her an amazing companion for the right home.

This happy girl loves running zoomies around the yard, exploring the outdoors, and joining her family on adventures. A home with a large fenced yard or acreage where she can safely burn off energy would be ideal. Layla also loves car rides and is always ready to tag along wherever life takes you.

Layla is leash trained, housebroken, and well-behaved in social settings. She has a gentle, easygoing personality and bonds deeply with her people. While she can live with other dogs, she will need proper introductions, patience, and time to adjust. Because she can be selective when first meeting new dogs, a home with older, calmer dogs—or as the only dog—would be preferred.

As with many rescue dogs, Layla will need a few days to decompress after arriving in her new home. With patience, consistency, and understanding, she quickly settles in and shows her loving, loyal personality.
