Meet Max, a handsome three-year-old, 52-pound dog with a classic black-and-white coat, expressive face, and wonderfully mismatched ears. He has a lively, ready-for-anything personality and is past the puppy stage.

Max has been waiting at the Humane Society of Missouri’s Maryland Heights shelter since August 6. He’s ready to leave shelter life behind and begin his next chapter with someone who will include him in the action and give him plenty of love and attention.

Ideal Home

Max would enjoy a home ready to share walks, playtime, adventures, and lots of affection.
