A-Zeus

Zeus is a 65 lb bundle of fun, playfulness, love, and goofy charm! He's also a big-time cuddler who adores hugs and kisses. This smart boy is full of personality and knows how to express himself with adorable looks. While Zeus is an active dog, he's also quite mellow and incredibly easy to train, responding wonderfully to treats and praise. He's already mastered "sit," "come," "stay," "out," and "shake." Zeus enjoys car rides and is a well-behaved guest in other people's homes. He's completely potty-trained, crate-trained (though he no longer needs it), and can be left alone without getting into mischief. He sleeps soundly from about 8:30 PM to 9 AM. Zeus walks nicely on a leash, doesn't bark excessively, and has no tendency to run off. He gets along famously with other dogs and loves all humans, especially enjoying trips to the dog park. He has a low prey drive and doesn't chase after squirrels or cats while on walks.

Ideal Home

Zeus would thrive in a home with a large, fenced-in yard where his people are active and can join him in play. He would enjoy the company of another dog, preferably one around his size. He would not do well in a home with small children.

Ongoing Health

Zeus has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Zeus is a quick learner and eager to please. He's already got a good handle on basic commands and house manners. His foster family has shown him he's not allowed in the kitchen while they are cooking, and he respects that boundary.
