Estimated to be around 2 years old, Marcel weighs approximately 25 pounds and appears to be a French Bulldog, though as with all rescue dogs, his breed and age are simply our best educated guess. We cannot know what life was for Marcel before rescue; his little body carries a few reminders that he has a story behind him, but his spirit never got the memo. Whatever came before has done absolutely nothing to dim his enthusiasm for people, dogs, or life itself. He greets new friends with an open heart, happily collects kisses whenever the opportunity presents itself, and seems genuinely convinced that everyone deserves a warm Marcel-hello!

Marcel is wonderfully social with other dogs and has an easygoing personality that makes him an enjoyable companion wherever he goes. Doggie friends of all ages and sizes are welcome, but he would be perfectly happy with just his people, showcasing the people-focused personality and quiet confidence of an independent French gentleman.
