Pop

Hello there, I'm Pop! I'm a super happy and snuggly guy with incredibly soft fur and adorable white markings on my nose. I came to Wags from New Mexico with my brother and sister when I was very little. My fur is a bit thicker and fuller than most pitties, which makes me extra unique – perhaps I have some Border Collie in my mix! I absolutely love the snow and am always ready for an adventure.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a family with older, dog-savvy children who understand that I can be a little shy and barky when I first meet new people, especially kids. It takes me a moment to warm up, but once I do, I'm all about kisses! I also thrive in a home with another dog friend; I absolutely love playing with my foster siblings and consider myself an emotional support dog. Sleeping with my people is a must – I love to snuggle up close for warmth and comfort!

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie and know "sit," "stay," "wait," and "come." I'm working on "down" and "off." I'm also potty trained and will let you know when I need to go out by laying by the door. I am kennel trained, but I really don't enjoy being confined. While I don't destroy anything when left alone, I much prefer having the freedom to roam. I'm also working on being gentle when taking treats, as I can get a bit overzealous with my food obsession, especially for peanut butter and yogurt!
